We are pleased to announce that the Historical Society or Rockland County's digital collections are now discoverable through New York Heritage, a collaborative project of the Empire State Library Network.
The Historical Society of Rockland County is one of hundreds of cultural organizations that have contributed collections to New York Heritage, resulting in more than a quarter-million fully searchable online historical resources. To find resources, you can search by keywords across all of the digital resources from the home page at https://nyheritage.org or specifically in the HSRC's digital collections at https://nyheritage.org/contributors/historical-society-rockland-county.
This online database, originally housed at the Southeastern New York Library Resources Council's Hudson River Valley HIstory site (hrvh.org), makes a significant part of the our photographic collection accessible to researchers, students, educators, and others, who can now view the images from schools, offices, or the comfort of their own homes.
Reproduction and copyrights for images may apply, and fees may be charged for usage. To inquire about reproduction rights and fees, email us at info@rocklandhistory.org.
