The Historical Society of Rockland County Invites You to Join Us for a

(Mystery) Hike to a Historic Cemetery in Harriman State Park

When:

Sunday, March 26, 2023, 10 am-1 pm 

Where:

Meeting place, parking, and ultimate destination will be provided with your confirmed reservation.

Price:

$15/person (prepaid reservations are required, Price includes hike and choice of Rockland history book or HSRC T-shirt) 

This history-rich hike led by Gordon Wren and Tony Benedict will take you to a 200-year-old cemetery inside Harriman State Park. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, the location of our ultimate destination will be revealed only once your reservation has been confirmed.

Additional notes:



  • Space on this hike will be strictly limited to to ensure safety.
  • The hike is rated easy to moderate and will take place mostly on level surfaces
  • A waiting list will be compiled, and spaces that become available will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If interest is high, we will reschedule additional hikes. Please note that only those who have made full payment can be accommodated.

Cancellation policy: Refunds can be given only if your space can be filled prior to the hike. A waiting list will be compiled, and available spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only those who have made full payment can be accommodated.
