With a renewed effort to showcase highlights from the Historical Society’s permanent collection, Hudson Valley’s Tastemaker Ned Kelly curated the exhibition “Simple Gifts,” which was shown inside the historic Jacob Blauvelt House.
In addition to selecting interesting, eclectic and unique items from the HSRC’s collection shelves, Ned Kelly and his team will decorate the historic Jacob Blauvelt House using their “perfect-pitch taste,” enhancing the charming spaces with exquisite beauty and refined elegance for the holidays.
Opportunities to view the “Simple Gifts” exhibition and the holiday décor will be during the Society’s Holiday Programs, on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon to 4 pm and by appointment on weekdays between December 14 and January 12.
As has been an ongoing tradition, The Historical Society is also delighted to announce our annual raffle! Five lovely items will be offered as prizes with a total retail value of over $1,500. Raffle tickets will be available throughout the duration of the exhibition.
