The Annual Holiday Exhibition showcased the work of miniature artist Sandra Mirque. Each of her detailed room boxes tells a story and are very appealing to those of us who are young at heart. Sandra also donated a handmade, Tuscany-themed room box to the HSRC to raffle during the exhibition. All proceeds from the raffle support the educational and preservation mission of the HSRC.
This year's show exhibited works by the collage artist Elizabeth Parsons of Monroe, New York, as well as beautiful art dolls and dollhouses by the West Nyack artist and children's book author/illustrator Barbara Soloff Levy.
Additional exhibitors included the ceramic artist Rosemary Aiello; the children's book illustrator and author Elizabeth Sayles; the illustrator William Sayles; the quilter Mary Jane Sexton; the miniaturists Tamara Greeman, Carolyn McErlean, Zsuzsa Neff, and Gladys Vasquez; the glass artist Stephanie Maddelena; and the dollhouse creator Hallie Horning.
The Annual Miniature & Dollhouse exhibition was curated by Joanne Potanovic.
